Requirements for non-Kenyans wishing to conduct a marriage ceremony in KenyaNon-Kenyan parties wishing to conduct a marriage ceremony in Kenya are required to produce the following documents:
1. Birth certificates
2. Valid passports
3. Decree Absolutes (if divorced)
4. Death certificate (if widowed)
5. Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage (Ehefähigkeitszeugnis)
6. Parental consent in form of legal document for persons below twenty-one (21) years of age.
7. Residency in the country for twenty-one days. If this is not possible, a Special Licence could be obtained beforehand by contacting the Registrar's Office in Kenya.

Scheidungsurteile gibt es leider nicht internationaler Fassung.
Familienzusammenführung läuft genauso wie in anderen Ländern, einfach mal die Suchfunktion benutzen
In Deutschland wird nur die 'Certified Copy of an Entry of Marriage' anerkannt, da nur diese das von den deutschen Behörden gewünschte Prägesiegel aufweist. Ansonsten gibt es keine 'Fallen'.
